SVFSC Virtual Test Sessions
Welcome to SVFSC Virtual Testing! Here you can find all necessary requirements, links to forms and general information. Please review all information before registering and recording to be sure you are complying with all USFS requirements. Virtual test fees are $45 for members and $60 for non-members (not including any EntryEeze/Admin fees).

Please note that Sun Valley Company does not allow recording virtual tests on their regularly scheduled freestyle or general skating sessions. As well, USFS requires no more than 8 skaters on the ice at the time of recording. If you are a SVFSC member ready to record a virtual test, your rented ice time for one recording (just as if it were an in-person test) will be covered by SVFSC. Any additional time is the responsibility of the skater. Your coach should work with the Virtual Test Chair (virtualtestchair@sunvalleyfsc.org) and the rink manager (sirvine@sunvalley.com) to reserve ice time and manage the ice payment in advance of the recording. If you are not a member of SVFSC you can work with your coach and the rink manager (sirvine@sunvalley.com) to reserve and pay for ice time, then simply register for a session that's within 2 weeks of your recording date.

-
Please review USFS Virtual Testing Video Requirements before recording.
-
Videos must be recorded in LANDSCAPE mode from start to finish. If you start in portrait mode and switch to landscape mode the video flips when viewing and is unacceptable for judges.
-
Please ZOOM in to your skater to a level that can be maintained throughout the recording. USFS does not allow zooming in and out, but staying zoomed in to allow better viewing for the judges IS acceptable.
-
HOT TIP: if you use an iPad to record, you can upload directly to EntryEeze from that device. When recording on a phone the video must be downloaded to a computer, then uploaded to EntryEeze.
-
-
Names and Likeness form and Performance Affidavit are BOTH required for virtual tests.
-
Non-Member Permission form is required by USFS for non-SVFSC members testing with our club to ensure the skater is in good standing with their home club (can be uploaded at the end of registration). Individual USFS members are not required to submit a permission to test form.
-
Test Placard required at the start of every video showing the skater name, test being taken, host club and test session date.

**Please note - for authorized refunds on canceled tests we are unable to include the convenience fee that we still incur for those tests
