Club Mission
Our club's mission is to create and cultivate opportunities for participation and achievement in figure skating at all levels, ages and disciplines.

​

Our vision is to foster fun and inspire a lifelong passion for skating, while developing champions on and off the ice. We strive to:

• Inspire and facilitate people's goals in skating, whether it is competing, testing, performing, coaching or volunteering; and

• Further the values of excellence, integrity, respect, resilience, and community among our club members.

Sun Valley Figure Skating Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and a member of US Figure Skating, Learn To Skate USA, and Pacific Northwest Inter-Club Council.

2024-2025 Membership Year

Renewal and New Membership Applications open June 1st!

  • Club membership is an annual membership.

  • Membership term runs July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025 (as dictated by U.S. Figure Skating).

  • Renewal/Open enrollment runs from June 1, 2024 until midnight June 30.

  • New Members can join any time after June 30. We are unable to pro-rate membership.

  • For returning Members, there is a late renewal fee of $35 after June 30. 

  • Parent of a Minor Members are required to join/renew with a Junior Member (First Year Members exempt).


Your membership to US Figure Skating is included in your Sun Valley Figure Skating Club membership fee.

Already have a Home Club?

Join as an Associate Member and receive benefits like discounted punch cards, no out of town test fees, and more!

Membership Categories

Junior or Adult Member = $150/year

  • This membership is for most our our skaters.

  • Parent of a Minor Membership is required for Junior Members (under 18).

    • Benefits Include:​

      • U.S. Figure Skating Membership and Monthly Skating Magazine 

      • Eligible to Purchase Discounted 24-Punch Cards for the Sun Valley Rinks

      • Club Member Rate for Sun Valley FSC Test Session Fees

      • Eligible to Skate in Club Holiday Show and Spring Recital

      • Club Social Events

      • Eligible for Club Awards and Grants

      • NEW - Eligible to Skate on Club Ice Sessions for FREE​​

 

First Year Member: $90/year

  • If you're new to the club then this is the membership for you. Experience all the benefits at an introductory rate.

  • Must not have been a member of U.S. Figure Skating prior.

  • Parents do not have to join with a First Year Member​​​​.

    • Benefits Include:

      • U.S. Figure Skating Membership and Monthly Skating Magazine 

      • Eligible to Purchase Discounted 24-Punch Cards for the Sun Valley Rinks

      • Club Member Rate for Sun Valley FSC Test Session Fees

Collegiate Member = $100/4 years

  • Stay connected to our Club and enjoy the benefits when you're here in town.

    • Benefits Include:​

      • 4-year USFS Membership for Skaters Enrolled in College

Associate Member = $100/year

  • This membership is for those who already have a home club but would like to enjoy club benefits.

  • Does NOT Include U.S. Figure Skating Membership.

    • Benefits Include:

      • Eligible to Purchase one Discounted 24-Punch Card for the Sun Valley Rinks per year

      • Club Member Rate for Sun Valley FSC Test Session Fees

Professional Member = $110/year

  • This membership is for our amazing coaches!

  • Benefits Include:

    • Benefits are the Same as a Junior or Adult Member

    • Plus Eligible for Club Education & Training Awards

    • Plus Nominate Athletes for Club Awards​

Friends of Sun Valley Figure Skating Club = $50 and up/year

  • Stay connected to the club and show your support with a donation! Recommended donation is $50/year, but all amounts are welcome.

  • Does NOT Include U.S. Figure Skating Membership.

    • Benefits Include:
