USFS Triple Gold Medalist ( Freestyle, Pairs & Dance) World Professional Pair Champion US Open Pair Champion Trophy Lalique Pair Champion Legends Pair Champion I have been coaching competitive figure skating for 42 years and I my passion for coaching continues to this day. Nothing makes me smile more than when I see a student understand and achieve a difficult skill or test. I have coached numerous skaters from their first steps on the ice to a gold medal . The latest student being Madda Floyd, who passed her Senior Moves in the Field test in McCall ID last week. I started my coaching career in Milwaukee WI while I was attending the University of Wisconsin at the age of 18. I met my husband and skating partner in 1987. We decided at the time to concentrate on our professional performing careers in lieu of coaching full time. Soon we were competing at various professional competitions and performed for numerous TV shows featuring our skating. We moved to Italy in 1989 for 3 years where we honed our acting skills and ice adagio tricks. Soon we were back in the USA on a tour called "Champions on Ice" , we performed in 80 cities in the span of 6 months. All together we have done over 8,000 performance all over the World and lived or skated in 30 countries. Our entertainment company is Glacier Ice. We produce ice and sporting shows for theme parks and special events all over the world. Our current production "Ice College" ends on November 4, 2019 and will resume again in the spring of 2020 at Phantasialand Park in Bruhl Germany . We feel privileged to be part of the Sun Valley skating community and we hope to inspire all ages to skate for fun and fitness for years to come.
